What is automotive?
Annata defines automotive players as importers, distributors, dealers, rental companies, workshops, transporters and PDI stations.
In our definition, automotive spans consumer and commercial vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural equipment and machines and industrial equipment and machines.
Or indeed, any business wanting to keep track of devices (anything with a serial number), warranties, spare parts, service, rental agreements.
Twofold delivery
The solution can be viewed as a twofold delivery:
A set of additional forms, reports and work processes specifically made for the automotive industry
A set of best practice how to utilize both standard Dynamic AX as well as the automotive add-on for the automotive importer and dealer industry.
This includes the best practise of data setup for Microsoft Dynamics AX in the automotive industry.
Multi brand
The solution is built as a multi brand solution, i.e. the importer and/or dealer can handle many different brands of vehicles and devices and different manufacturer's requirements.
