A new Annata IDMS 2009 release, version 5.02 will be available in April. It includes extensive enhancements as well as brand new functionality.

In total, well over 100 enhancements and fixes have been made to this new release.

However, the main focus relates to the new functionality that has been developed in co-operation with actual customers - which makes Annata IDMS an even better fit, serving the everyday needs of automotive or construction equipment importers and dealers.

With Annata IDMS it is now possible to:

• Create a rental order for multiple vehicles/heavy machinery together with work orders supporting each of the rental stages (e.g. delivery, return or incident). This means that the fleet management module can now be used for more complex rental procedures.
• Manage vehicles/heavy machinery, work orders and parts using the dealer role, parts role and basic workshop role. The new Annata IDMS web roles allow users to access information more easily and simplify the execution of basic processes.
• Extend standard search functionality with a new search engine plug-in which allows, for example, multi field, stop list or related table search possibilities. The new search engine accelerates and improves the ability to find the data required.
• Go through the claims process more easily and with greater confidence due to a number of enhancements to the claims functionality.
• Setup multiple warranties (e.g. standard, extended or optional) on vehicles/heavy machinery based on mileage or usage and/or time interval.
